The VII Extraordinary Nevsky Radiological Forum “NRF 2014”, one of the largest scientific congresses in Russia, concluded its three-day work on April 6, 2014 in St. Petersburg. This forum was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Regional Public Organization “St. Petersburg Radiology Association”, being the first professional association for radiology in Russia and one of the first in the world.

Educational seminars on new technologies in radiology, such as tomosynthesis, cone-beam CT, functional methods of multi-layer spiral CT and MRI and etc., as well as special sessions, such as radiology in neonatology and others, were performed in the scientific program of the event.

The NRF 2014 was organized with the joint participation of the Regional Public Organization “St.Petersburg Radiology Association”, Russian Ministry of Health, Healthcare Committee of St. Petersburg Administration, Radiological Diagnostics Development Fund, specialized institutes and centers, as well as leading educational institutions of higher professional medical education.

Traditionally, Lancet participated in the exhibition of modern means of radiology, new technologies, and medical products.
